Owner, Tommy Herren, has been providing landscape design, construction, and lighting services for more than 40 years in the Greater Sacramento area. In 1996, he started a company called Landscape Werks, Inc. which became The Lighting Geek in 2006. Today, as electricians & landscape contractors, Tommy and his talented team offer their Northern California customers’ full-service lighting design, outdoor sound, automation, installation, and repair.

Initial Consultation & Site Survey
We’ll start with a phone call to discuss your project and then schedule an initial consultation at your property. We listen closely to our clients and enjoy collaborating to create your dream environment. We will conduct a site survey to gather the information necessary to develop a custom proposal.
Demonstration, Plan Development, & Proposal Approval
We’ll introduce you to a wide range of options and we encourage feedback on what fits your own sense of style. Then, based on your needs and budget, we translate your vision into a complete estimate of the work proposed.
Installation
We use only the highest quality lighting fixtures and use uncompromised installation procedures. If needed, we will even develop custom installation methods to achieve the best illumination possible. Our end-to-end attention to detail will mold your home and/or landscape into your personal paradise.
Order Completion & On-Going Follow Up
From concept to creation, we have a single goal in mind – your complete satisfaction. We warranty our workmanship for one year and offer a minimum of 10 year warranty on the fixtures we install.
